Marshfield’s boys won their second straight prep soccer match Saturday at Newport with a 1-0 win over Astoria. The Pirates (2-2) host Phoenix (2-0) Tuesday, 4 p.m. North Bend’s boys beat visiting Cascade (0-3) 2-0 Saturday at Vic Adams Field. The Bulldogs (1-2) play at Central (0-1-1) in Independence Tuesday, 4 p.m., and then host Ashland (1-2) on Saturday, 3 p.m. North Bend’s girls improved to 3-0 with a 3-2 win Saturday at home over visiting Cascade (1-2). The Lady Bulldogs (3-0) play at Central (1-3) Tuesday, 4 p.m., and then host Ashland (1-1) on Saturday, 1 p.m. Marshfield’s girls fell to Astoria, 5-0 at Newport. The Lady Pirates (0-4) play at Phoenix (0-1) on Tuesday.
