Behind the serving of sophomore Tatum Montiel in the first set Tuesday night, the Marshfield Lady Pirates rolled through Cottage Grove 3-0 in a District 4 match. Montiel ran off 20-points at the line, including four aces to set the tone for the evening. Both JV teams also won 3-0. Marshfield is off until next Tuesday when they host Marist Catholic.

North Bend’s boys fell 3-1 to Marist Catholic in a District 4 soccer match Tuesday at Eugene. The Bulldogs (0-1, 1-4-1) are scheduled to play at Junction City on Thursday, 7:30p. North Bend’s girls lost at Marist Catholic at Eugene Tuesday, 5-0. The Bulldogs (0-1, 2-4) are scheduled to play at Junction City Thursday, 5:30p. No scores were available from the Marshfield – Junction City matches.
