NBHS Bowling Teams
NBHS Athletic Dept. release – Congratulations to our NBHS Bowling teams on their accomplishments at the High School Bowling State Championship this past weekend!! The teams traveled to Salem and after three grueling days of competition, the ladies’ team brought home the third-place trophy, and the boys took sixth place! Isabella Gerami placed fourth in the girl’s division of Singles play. The future is bright for bowling! Congratulations Bulldog Bowlers!
3A Basketball Tournament
The OSAA 3A Girls & Boys State Basketball Tournament will get underway Thursday, Feb. 29, at both Marshfield and North Bend high schools with quarter-final games beginning at 1:30 p.m. The girls’ games will be at Marshfield. First up will be Westside Christian vs. Corbett, followed by Banks vs. Vale at 3:15 p.m., Nyssa vs. Amity at 6:30 p.m. and Creswell vs. Sutherlin at 8:15 p.m. At North Bend, boy’s quarter-finals with Burns vs. Harrisburg at 1:30 p.m., followed by Neah-Kah-Nie vs. Westside Christian at 3:30 p.m. Cascade Christian vs. De La Salle North Catholic at 6:30 p.m., and Dayton vs. Valley Catholic at 8:15 p.m. Tickets are available on-line at www.osaa.org.

The OSAA 2A Girls & Boys State Basketball Tournament opens at the Pendleton Convention Center, Thursday, Feb. 29, with Bandon, the No. 2 seed, playing No. 10 seed Oakridge at 8:15 p.m. You can follow the game on the OSAA Radio Network at www.osaa.org.
