Finals will be held today. The 4A/5A/6A schools will be on the track today for finals in the 3000 and preliminaries as well as some finals in the field. The State meet wraps up on Saturday. Prep softball scores for Thursday, May 16: 4A – Marshfield fell to Scio 6-0 in a playoff “tune-up” game at Florence Thursday. The Lady Pirates (18-7) open the first round of the OSAA playoffs next Tuesday at home.

Prep baseball scores for Thursday, May 16: 4A – North Bend beat visiting Stayton, 6-0. Bulldogs (15-8) advance in the playoffs to play at Crook Co. (19-6), Prineville, on Tuesday, May 21. 3A – South Umpqua won at Reedsport 8-6. 2A/1A – Gold Beach beat Eddyville Charter, 20-2, at Toledo.
