Both Marshfield and North Bend open the 2024 OSAA/OnPoint Community Credit Union 4A Softball Playoffs with games Tuesday. The Lady Pirates (18-7), Sky-Em Champions will host Hidden Valley (14-11) at Coos Bay, 5 p.m., while North Bend (11-8), travels to Pendleton (25-2) for a 2 p.m. game against the Buckaroos. Winners advance to the quarter-final round on May 24.
