Prep SB Polls
No South Coast prep softball teams made this week’s OSAA/Coach’s Softball Polls. Brookings-Harbor was listed in the 3A ranks as “others receiving significant votes.” Bend (15-0) leads the 6A list, Pendleton/Griswold (13-1) tops the 5A, Marist Catholic (13-1) is No. 1 in the 4A, Yamhill-Carlton (14-2) has the 3A, and Grant Union/Prairie City the 2A/1A.

Marshfield’s softball team downed visiting Siuslaw 16-1 (3) in a 4A District 4 league game at the ESD Field Tuesday. The Lady Pirates (5-2, 9-8) are scheduled to play at Cottage Grove Friday, 3 & 5p. North Bend’s softball team beat visiting Churchill 7-6 in a 5A Midwestern League game at the Oak St. Fields Tuesday. The Lady Bulldogs (2-6, 6-9) are scheduled to play a doubleheader at Willamette on Saturday.

Marshfield’s baseball team beat visiting Siuslaw 11-4 Tuesday in a 4A District 4 league game at the MHS field. The Pirates (5-2, 9-7) are scheduled to play at Cottage Grove on Friday, 3 & 5p. North Bend’s baseball team lost 4-3 to visiting Churchill at Clyde Allen Field Tuesday. The Bulldogs (1-7, 7-9) are scheduled to play a doubleheader at Willamette, Eugene, Saturday.
