Marshfield’s Alexander Garcia Silver will run in an invitational meet at Arcadia, CA Friday. The BYU-bound senior is one of 37 in in the 3200-meter run rated event scheduled for Saturday, 5 p.m. A live webcast of the meet is available through Runnerspace.com.

The 21st Annual Prefontaine Rotary Invitational Track & Field Meet will be held Saturday, April 8th, Prefontaine Track at Marshfield HS, Coos Bay. Field events will begin at 10 a.m. Twenty-one teams are scheduled to compete including the host school Marshfield. Also from Coos County, North Bend, Coquille, Bandon, Myrtle Pt. and Powers.
