Prep SC Jamboree
South Coast prep soccer teams will open the 2023 season with jamborees Friday at Marshfield and North Bend. The boys will open at 9 a.m. with Marshfield and Coquille at Pete Susick Stadium. At 9:20 a.m., North Bend and Pacific will follow. The boy’s jamboree will continue until noon. North Bend and Marshfield will play at 10:40 a.m. The girls will open at 1 p.m. at Vic Adams Field with Marshfield and Coquille, followed by North Bend and Siuslaw. The girl’s jamboree will continue to the last match at 3:05 p.m. between Marshfield and North Bend. There is an admission fee.
Prep VB Jamboree
The South Coast’s prep volleyball teams will gather at Marshfield High School and Junior High School Friday, Aug, 25, 2023 for a jamboree. The varsity matches will be in the Main Gym and the JV matches in the Junior High. Both begin at 9 a.m. There is an admission fee.

Marshfield opened the 2023 prep volleyball season with a quick 3-0 win over Hidden Valley at NBHS Thursday. The Lady Pirates (1-0) host their own Jamboree Friday and then Saturday compete in the Challenger Invitational at Cascade Christian, Medford, Saturday. No score on the Hidden Valley vs. North Bend match. The Bulldogs will compete in the Marshfield Jamboree Friday, and host Siuslaw Tuesday, Aug. 29.

Marshfield and North Bend’s football teams will participate in the Junction City Jamboree Friday, Aug. 25, to open the 2023 prep season.
Prep XC Polls
Marshfield’s boys are ranked No. 3 in the first OSAA/Coach’s 4A Cross Country Poll for the 2023 prep season. The Dalles is ranked first, followed by Crook Co. Siuslaw is No. 2 in the 3A Poll, while Bandon is No. 4 in the 2A/1A Poll. Siuslaw’s girls are ranked No. 3 in the first 3A/2A/1A Poll. Bandon is No. 7.
