Marshfield’s volleyball team opens the 2022 prep season with two matches at Thurston Thursday. The Lady Pirates will play Roseburg at 3 p.m. and Thurston at 5 p.m. North Bend opens the season with a match at Hidden Valley Thursday, 6p.

The OSAA released the first prep soccer polls for the 2022 Fall Season. Marshfield’s boys are among “others receiving significant votes in the 4A poll. Brookings-Harbor is ranked No. 6 in the 3A/2A/1A Poll. North Bend’s girls are among “others receiving significant votes” in the 4A Poll as is Brookings-Harbor in the 3A/2A/1A Poll.
