High school soccer & cross-country teams in Oregon are preparing for a short mini-season in March. The OSAA Executive Board cleared the way for prep teams to play during their meeting on Monday. Not getting the go-ahead was football as 11-on-11, or volleyball. Both are special cases and tied to the current health pandemic. For Marshfield, boys’ soccer is scheduled to begin on March 2 at Junction City. North Bend’s boys are schedule to play St. Mary’s at Medford on March 13. The Bulldog girls are scheduled to play at Junction City March 9. Marshfield’s girls are scheduled to begin March 2 at home to Junction City. Marshfield’s cross-country schedule is incomplete, but North Bend shows an opening date of March 6 vs. Bandon at NBHS.
