Marshfield’s boys beat Siuslaw 71-43 in a 4A District 4 basketball game at Florence Thursday. The Pirates (8-1, 20-4) have one final league game Friday at Junction City (9-0, 21-2). The varsity girls play at 5:45 p.m., followed by the varsity boys. Both games will be broadcast live on FM 105.1, KMHS and streamed online at www.kmhsonline.com.

Friday and Saturday, the top boys and girls’ teams in the 1A Skyline Conference will playoff for league championships at Marshfield High School’s Pirate Palace Friday & Saturday. Admission costs: For Each Full Day – $6.00 – Adults; $4.00 – Students; $4.00 – Senior Citizens. Friday Games: 2:00 pm Pacific Pirates vs. Yoncalla Eagles – Girls Basketball; 3:30 pm –Riddle Irish vs. Days Creek Wolves- Boys Basketball; 5:00 pm – Umpqua Valley Christian Monarchs vs. North Douglas Warriors- Girls Basketball; 6:30- Elkton Elks vs. North Douglas Warriors – Boys Basketball. Finals on Saturday, begin at 2pm.
