Brookings-Harbor (13-10) is No. 10 in the final OSAA/Coach’s 3A Basketball Poll for the 2021/22 pre season. Bandon (22-3) is No. 5 in the final 2A Poll and Coquille (16-4) is No. 9.

The brackets are set for this weekend’s OSAA State Wrestling Championships. In the 4A Division Feb. 26th at Cascade HS in Turner: 106 Reese Hite, MHS, is seeded 4th and will take on River Sandstrom, Philomath, in his opener. Spencer Pederson is in the same weight class and will open against 5th seed Nehemiah Gaul, Estacada. At 113, David Bouska, MHS, vs. 3rd seed Jacob Landtroop, Sweet Home. At 152, 4th seed Jonathan Calvert, MHS, vs. Jared Isaacson, LaGrande. Miguel Velazquez, MHS, is the top-seed at 195, the senior will open against Alexander Sigrah, Ontario. At 220, Hayden Murphy, MHS, takes on fifth-seed Lawson Talmantez. The 5A schools will be at Ridgeview HS, Redmond, Feb. 26th. At 132, Wyatt Smith, NB, vs. top-seed DJ Gillett, Crescent Valley. At 285 second-seed Neal Walter, NB, vs. Coy Mathiasen, Crook Co.
