Marshfield will host its own Invite Swim Meet, Friday, Jan. 6, 3 p.m., Mingus Park Pool. North Bend will also compete.
Prep Crossover Tournament
The matchups are all set for this year’s Crossover Basketball Tournament between the boys & girls prep basketball teams from District 4 and the Skyline Conference. Marshfield’s girls will go to Marist Catholic, Eugene, Friday to play Klamath Union at 6 p.m. On Saturday, the Lady Pirates will play Henley at 2 p.m. North Bend’s girls will be at Junction City Friday and play Phoenix at 6 p.m. On Saturday, the Bulldogs will play Mazama at Marist Catholic at 12:30 p.m. The boy’s tournament has North Bend playing Mazama, Friday, 4:30 p.m. at Henley (Klamath Falls). Marshfield will play Klamath Union Friday, 7:30 p.m., at KU. Saturday, the Pirates will play Phoenix at Henley, 2 p.m., while North Bend gets Klamath Union, 12:30 p.m., at KU. The matchups are based on the latest 4A OSAA rankings. KMHS, FM 105.1 will carry the Marshfield girl’s games live on the radio.

Marshfield will host the Coast Qualifier Youth Wrestling Tournament, Saturday, beginning at 8 a.m., Pirate Palace, MHS campus, Coos Bay.

North Bend’s wrestling team competes in the King of the Hill Tournament at Pleasant Hill, Saturday, Jan. 7, beginning at 10 a.m.
