Marshfield continues to lead the OSAA/Coach’s 4A Weekly Basketball Poll. The Pirates (8-1) are followed by Cascade (7-2), Stayton (7-1), Junction City (9-2) & Seaside (9-2). Brookings-Harbor (7-3) is No. 9 in the 3A Poll, and Bandon is No. 8 in the 2A Poll.
Crossover Tourney
District 4 and District 5 prep basketball teams meet in their annual Crossover Tourney this weekend. The girls teams will play at Siuslaw HS in Florence, while the boys travel to the Grants Pass area to play at Hidden Valley HS. MHS girls will play Friday, 6 p.m., against Hidden Valley in the Siuslaw HS Auxiliary Gym, and 2:15 p.m. Saturday against Klamath Union in the Main Gym. The Pirate boys will play Friday 5:15 p.m. against Henley, and Saturday 1:45 p.m. against Klamath Union. Both in the Main Gym at HVHS. The boy’s games will be broadcast live on FM 105.1, KMHS and streamed on the internet at www.kmhsonline.com.
