Marshfield’s girls are ranked No. 9 in the first OSAA/Coach’s 4A softball poll. Marist Catholic is ranked No. 1, followed by Henley, La Grande, Banks & Mazama. Bandon received votes but did not place in the Top 10 of the 2A/1A Poll.

North Bend is scheduled to open the 2022 prep baseball season at Cottage Grove, Wednesday, 4 p.m. Marshfield’s game at North Valley Tuesday was postponed until Wednesday, 4 p.m. The game will be broadcast live on FM 105.1 KMHS and streamed at www.kmhsonline.com

Marshfield’s softball team opened the 2022 prep season with a 29-5 (5) win over visiting North Valley Tuesday at Coos Head Field in Coos Bay. The Lady Pirates (1-0) are scheduled to play at South Umpqua on Thursday, March 17.
