Marshfield senior Charlie Dea was named to the First-Team All League for District 4 basketball following voting by the league’s coaches. Junior Kate Miles was voted Second Team, while sophomore Paige MacDuff was Honorable Mention along with freshman Tatum Montiel. Sophomore Gracie Peach was named to the All Defensive Team.

Marshfield’s Mason Ainsworth was voted Player of the Year for the 2022 District 4 Basketball Season by the league’s coaches. Pierce Davidson was named to the First Team, Dom Montiel Second Team, Monty Swinson Honorable Mention and Ezra Waterman the All Defensive Team.

4A Bxb Tourney
Sixteen 4A prep basketball teams are headed to Oregon’s Bay Area this week to participate in the 2022 OSAA State Basketball Championships at North Bend and Marshfield high schools beginning Thursday. The boys’ teams will be at North Bend the first day and the girl’s teams at Marshfield. On Friday morning, boy’s consolation moves to MHS and girl’s consolation goes to NBHS. Championship semi-finals on Friday and trophy games Saturday will all be played at MHS. Tickets are only available on line at www.OSAA.org.
