Prep XC Polls
The final OSAA/Coach’s Girls’ Cross-Country Polls has Siuslaw tied with Burns at No. 3 in the 3A/2A/1A classification. Bandon is No. 6. Philomath leads the 4A, followed by Junction City. Marshfield is No. 8 in the Boy’s 4A. Philomath is No. 1, followed by The Dalles and Marist Catholic. Siuslaw tops the 3A Poll, while Bandon is No. 4 in the 2A/1A classification.

Prep FB Polls
This week’s OSAA/Coach’s 4A Football Poll has Marshfield (6-2) ranked No. 9. Unbeaten Mazama (8-0) is No. 1, followed by No. 2 Estacada (7-1); No. 3 Henley (7-1); No. 4 Marist Catholic (7-1) & No. 5 La Grande (6-2). Siuslaw (6-2) is tied with Warrenton (-2) for ninth in the 3A Poll topped by Cascade Christian (8-0) of Medford.

It’s the end of the regular prep football season for both Marshfield and North Bend and the two Bay Area teams find themselves on a long road trip to the Klamath Basin for games Friday night. Marshfield, tied with Henley for second-place, travels to first-place Mazama, while fourth-place North Bend goes to Henley. Both games will be broadcast on the local radio stations in the Bay Area.

The First-Round of the OSAA Prep Volleyball Play-Offs are set for Saturday for both Marshfield and North Bend. League champion Marshfield is at home, 3 p.m., to La Grande, while North Bend travels to Mazama at Klamath Falls for a 1:45 p.m. match.

Marshfield’s girls will host St. Helens in an OSAA Soccer playoff match Friday, 4 p.m., Pete Susick Stadium. The Pirate boys will host Cascade Saturday, 12:30 p.m., Pete Susick Stadium, and North Bend’s girls will host Cascade Saturday, 4:30 p.m., Vic Adams Field.
