Marshfield defeated Newport in three to start the 2019 prep volleyball season at home in Coos Bay Tuesday evening. The Lady Pirates won 25-21, 25-23 & 25-15. Marshfield (1-0) hosts Phoenix and Reedsport on Thursday. Marshfield also won the JV match 25-20, 25-6 & 25-14. No score available from Willamette & North Bend.
