Pacific High School hosted its annual 5K Cinnamon Roll Run on Wednesday at Buffinton Park, Port Orford. North Bend’s girls, led by sophomore Ellie Massey in first-place (20:38.96) and freshman Bryleigh Mead in second (20:54.44), won the meet with 23-points, Bandon second with 49 and Marshfield third with 52. Sophomore Marley Petrey led Bandon with third-place overall (21:23.02) and Marshfield freshman Lily Thompson led the Pirates in 8th (22:11.94). North Bend took first in the boy’s race with 30-points. Marshfield was second with 33, followed by Reedsport (74) and Brookings-Harbor (99). Junior Elijah Cellura of Marshfield was the overall winner in 18:28.76, while North Bend junior Matix Wolfe was second (18:41.97).
