Marshfield’s boys and girls both swept three-way swim meets Thursday at the Mingus Park Pool in Coos Bay. The Lady Pirates won with 281-points, while Cottage Grove was second with 174 and Junction City third with 63. The Pirate boys won with 286-points to CG’s 155 & JC’s 47. Senior Zack Randle had a busy day. He won both the 200 Free (2:05.41) & 500 Free (5:43.58) and swam legs on the winning 200 Free Relay (1:47.16) and the 400 Free Relay (4:01.77). For the girls, Kady Cooley and Sydney Trendell each won two events. Cooley took the 200 Free (2:13.26) and the 500 Free (6:00.78). Trendell won the 200 IM (2:40.09) and the 100 Breast (1:22.63). They also swam legs on the winning relay teams.
