Cottage Grove wrapped up the 2018 4A SkyEm Volleyball League title Thursday night with a 3-0 win over visiting Junction City. Marshfield lost at second place Marist Catholic 3-1. The Spartans have a one match lead over the Tigers and Lady Pirates, who are tied for third place, with one match remaining. Next Tuesday, Marshfield (5-4, 15-5) finishes at Elmira (1-8, 6-12), Junction City (5-4, 11-8) hosts Siuslaw (2-7, 8-10) and Marist Catholic (4-3, 6-9) visits Cottage Grove (8-1, 15-3). Visiting Ashland bettered North Bend 3-1 in 5A Midwestern League play Thursday night. The Bulldogs (0-14, 2-15) host Thurston next Tuesday.
