Marshfield’s volleyball team beat Cottage Grove 3-2 in a 4A District 4 playoff match at neutral site Siuslaw in Florence Tuesday night. The Lady Pirates (6-4, 15-9) second the No. 2 seed out of the district for the upcoming OSAA state playoffs. Cottage Grove (6-4, 10-11) is the No. 3 seed and Siuslaw (4-6, 10-11) No. 4. Junction City (10-0, 18-4) won the league title and is the No. 1 seed. The OSAA Power Rankings freeze Thursday night, 10 p.m.
