North Bend advanced to the OSAA 4A Volleyball First Round of the playoffs with a 3-0 sweep of visiting Scappoose Tuesday night. The Bulldogs (16-6) will host Astoria (13-8) in the First Round Saturday, Oct. 28. Marshfield will host La Grande (10-11) also Saturday. Times to be determined. In the 3A playoffs, Coquille (16-8) will host Vale (15-9), Wednesday, 4:30 p.m. In 1A – Myrtle Pt. (15-5) travels to Imbler (18-14) Wednesday for a 5:30 p.m. match.
