Marshfield’s volleyball team swept two visiting opponents at the Pirate Palace, Coos Bay, Thursday. The Pirates downed Brookings-Harbor and South Umpqua by identical 3-0 scores. Marshfield (2-0) hosts North Bend Tuesday, Sept. 7. North Bend’s volleyball team went on the road to smokey Southern Oregon and beat Eagle Pt. 3-0. The Bulldogs (2-0) are at the Pirates on Tuesday.
