Marshfield’s boys bettered North Bend 25-30 in a prep cross country meet on the Millicoma Trails at Eastside on Wednesday. Senior Aidan Lilienthal, Myrtle Point, won the 5K race in 17:54. Marshfield junior Jacob Calvert was second in 18:32, while Pirate freshman Corbin Reeves was third (19:04) and North Bend junior Trenton Parrot came in fourth (19:07). Marshfield’s Bailey Wallack won the girls’ race (21:15), while North Bend sophomore Sara Slade was second (21:17). Marshfield is next scheduled to run at the Sky-Em Meet, Saturday, March 20, at Marist Catholic in Eugene. North Bend will host the Ferry Park Dual on Saturday, March 20.
