Marshfield’s boys won the Myrtle Point Invitational cross country meets Saturday with 22-points, while Pirate junior Jacob Calvert was the individual champion on the 5K course in 18:28. North Bend was second (35) and Glide third (75). The Bulldogs’ junior Trenton Parrot finished third in 19:01. North Bend’s girls defeated Glide 22-33 in their 5K race. Myrtle Point and Marshfield had incomplete teams. North Bend sophomore Sara Slade won in 21:43, while senior teammate Celeste Sinko was third in 22:38. Marshfield junior Baily Wallack was fifth in 23:15. Teammate Elizabeth Delgado was 11th in 29:48. Marshfield is scheduled to host Siuslaw on the Millicoma Trails Wednesday in Eastside. North Bend’s next race is March 17th on the Millicoma Trails.
