Siuslaw boys took first place (89), Newport second (96) and Marshfield was 12th (392) at the NW Classic Cross County Meet at Lane Community College in Eugene Saturday. Individually, senior Aaron Prince led the Pirates by finishing 33rd (17:46.40). Siuslaw won the girl’s side (102), Tillamook was second (107). Marshfield did not have a team. Senior Kaylee Delzotti placed 25th (21:34.15). Marshfield runs in the Prefontaine Run Saturday in Coos Bay. North Bend will host the Tugman Invite at Tugman State Park, Lakeside, on Tuesday and then run in the Prefontaine Run on Saturday.
