Bandon’s boys took first, but North Bend freshman Alexander Garcia-Silver took the individual crown in winning the Tugman Invite Tuesday near Lakeside. The Tigers scored 20-points to North Bend’s 48 and Glide third with 70. Garcia-Silver was timed in 16:45.2 over the 5K course. Bandon also took the girl’s race with 29-points, North Bend was just one point behind with 30. Individually, the Tigers sophomore Holly Hutton won in 21:07.2. Celeste Sinko led the Bulldogs with a 5th place finish in 22:33.7. North Brnf next runs in the Prefontaine Run Saturday in Coos Bay.
