Detectives in Roseburg went to a trailer park on Hwy. 99 in Roseburg searching for an out-of-compliance sex offender. Instead they uncovered a prostitution operation and illegal drug use. A couple, 27-year old Ahren R. Clappsdale and 18-year old Sarah Starr Chastain, have been charged with Promoting Prostitution and Possession of Heroin. In all, three individuals were charged with Heroin possession and four people were arrested on outstanding warrants. The out-of-compliance sex offender was not located.
