The City of Coos Bay is in the process of upgrading the existing Pump Station #9 located east of the intersection of Southwest Boulevard and Montana Avenue. The Pump Station needs replacement to accommodate existing infrastructure and future development. The City has contracted with Pacific Excavation, Inc. for the construction of this project. It is anticipated that they will break ground as early as August 28 with a construction schedule lasting initially for two weeks for the first phase, then beginning again in March of 2024 and extending through the summer of 2024. Please pardon the dust while these improvements are taking place. Small delays may occur along Southwest Boulevard. Working hours will be from 7 a.m. – 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
