A 3.1-magnitude earthquake shook the Cape Menocino area of Northern California Saturday, March 1, where two fault lines enter the Pacific Ocean and then turn north to run parallel with the Oregon Coast. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake occurred at 7:01 p.m., 37-miles south to southwest of Eureka, CA.
