A 2.9-magnitude earthquake shook Cape Mendocino in Northern California Wednesday, Oct. 21. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake occurred at 5:05 p.m. and was located 52-miles west to southwest of Eureka, CA where two fault lines begin that run parallel with the Oregon Coast.
