Quake at Cape Mendocino in Northern California, Dec. 4

A 2.8-magnitude earthquake shook the Cape Mendocino area of Northern California early Wednesday morning, Dec. 4, where two fault lines enter the Pacific Ocean and then run parallel with the Oregon Coast. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake occurred at 12:44 a.m., and was located 39-miles south to southwest of Eureka, CA.
