A 4.3-magnitude earthquake occurred Thursday, Dec. 18, off Northern California in the Pacific Ocean. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was recorded at 6:40 p.m. and was located 137-miles west of Eureka, CA within the Cascadia Subduction Zone.
