A 4.6-magnitude earthquake was recorded off the South Oregon Coast Tuesday, Dec. 20. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was located just inside the outer fault line of the two that run parallel with the Oregon Coast at a depth of six-miles. After shocks continue to rock Cape Mendocino in Northern California following a 6.4-magnitude earthquake where the two fault lines begin. According to the USGS, eight to nine more aftershocks were recorded Tuesday, southwest of Ferndale, CA. The largest was a 3.4-magnitude.
