Quake in Northern California, July 21

A 2.8-magnitude earthquake shook the Cape Mendocino area of Northern California Sunday, July 20, where two fault lines enter the Pacific Ocean and then turn north to run parallel with the Oregon Coast.  According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was located66-miles west to northwest of Eureka, CA and occurred at 8:12 a.m.
