A small 2.7-magnitude earthquake shook the Cape Mendocino area of Northern California Monday, Jan. 14.  According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was located southeast of Rio Dell, CA near where two fault lines begin that then run parallel with the Oregon Coast.
