A 2.8-magnitude earthquake shook the southern junction where the two fault lines begin that run parallel with the Oregon Coast Saturday, May 22. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was located west to northwest of Petrolia, CA near Cape Mendocino in Northern California.
