Quake, May 3

The outer fault line of the two that run parallel with the Oregon Coast continues to see action on the Pacific Ocean seafloor. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 4.3-magnitude quake was recorded Saturday, May 1, west of Ferndale, CA near Cape Mendocino in Northern California. Several earthquakes in the magnitude 5.0 range were recorded along the same fault line last week, but off the South Oregon Coast.
