Quake in Northern California, Dec. 17

A magnitude 2.5 earthquake was recorded at Cape Mendocino in Northern California Monday, Dec. 16, where two fault lines leave land to enter the Pacific Ocean and then turn north to run parallel with the Oregon Coast. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake occurred at 1:49 p.m., 36-miles South to Southwest of Eureka, CA.
