A 3.0-magnitude earthquake was recorded in the Cape Mendocino area of Northern California where two fault lines begin that run parallel with the Oregon Coast, Thursday, Nov. 9. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was located west to southwest of Ferndale, CA.
