A 4.2-magnitude earthquake was recorded west of Bandon early Friday morning, May 22. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake occurred at 12:40 a.m. and was located 135-miles west of Bandon within the two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast.
