A couple of moderate earthquakes shook the two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, April 7 & 8. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 4.2-magnitude quake was recorded at 7:54 a.m., Tuesday, 106-miles west of Coos Bay, and a 3.1-magnitude quake occurred Wednesday morning at 1:25 a.m., and was located 50-miles west to southwest of Eureka, CA at Cape Mendocino.
