A 4.9-magnitude earthquake shook the Pacific Ocean seafloor off of Coos Bay Saturday morning, Jan. 23. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake occurred at 10:05 a.m. and was located 106-miles west of the Bay Area, near the Blanco Fracture Zone.
