A 3.2-magnitude quake shook the Pacific Ocean sea floor 118-miles west of Coos Bay Sunday morning, May 4, at 6:39 a.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The quake was within the fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast. Early Saturday morning, May 3, a 2.7-magnitude earthquake shook the Cape Mendocino area of Northern California. It was located 55-miles west to southwest of Eureka, CA.
