A 3.0-magnitude earthquake was recorded west of Gold Beach on Monday, May 2. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was located between the two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast at 101.9-miles west to southwest of the Curry Co. Seat and occurred at 4:34 a.m.
