A 6.3-magnitude earthquake shook the outer fault line of the two that run parallel with the Oregon Coast early Thursday morning, Aug. 29. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was located west to northwest of Bandon, OR. The report also lists the quake occurring at 8:08 a.m., Pacific Time, 184-miles west of Coos Bay, and at a depth of over three-miles.
