A 2.8-magnitude earthquake shook the Cape Mendocino area of Northern California Wednesday, March 2. According to the U.S Geological Survey, the quake occurred at 2:08 p.m. and was located 122-miles west of Eureka, CA within the two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast.
