A 2.8-magnitude earthquake was recorded off the South Oregon Coast early Sunday, April 16th. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was located on the outer fault line of the two that run parallel with the Oregon Coast, west of Langlois, in Curry Co. Early Monday morning, a 2.6-magnitude quake was located at the southern end of the two fault lines. According to the USGS it was west of Petrolia, CA near Cape Mendocino in Northern California.
