A couple of earthquakes shook the northern and southern ends of two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast Saturday, April 5. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 4.5-magnitude quake shook an area 114-miles west to southwest of Port Hardy, Canada at 5:44 p.m. Earlier, at 9 a.m., a 2.5-magnitude quake was recorded at Cape Mendocino in Northern California, 33-miles south to southwest of Eureka, CA.
